Expressions Of C-Met And Telomerase In Hepatocellular Carcinoma And Their Clinical Significances

Objective:To study the expressions of c-Met and Telomerase in hepatocellular carcinoma and discuss the effects of C-met and Telomerase in the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods:The expressions of c-Met and Telomerase were examined using immunohis-tochemical SP staining method in 42 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma and 10 cases of paracancerous tissues. Results:â‘ The positive rates of C-met and hTERT expressiong in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues were 76.19% and 88.09% respectively, in paracancerous tissues were 30% and 40%,there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05);â‘¡The expressions of c-Met and Telomerase in hepatocellular carcinoma have no correlation (r= 0.140,p>0.05)..â‘¢The expression of c-Met was correlated with extends of tumor(p<0.05); wasn't correlated with sex,age, Whether the envelope, Cirrhosis of Liver and HBsAg (p>0.05);The expression of hTERT wasn't correlated with extends of tumor,sex,age, Whether the envelope and HBsAg (p>0.05), was correlated with Cirrhosis of Liver(p<0.05);â‘£The expressions of c-Met in hepatocellular carcinoma of hTERT positive were fifteen cases of (+++),nine cases of (++),five case of (+),eight case of(-).The expressions of c-Met in hepatocellular carcinoma of hTERT negative were zero cases of (+++),two cases of (++),one case of (+),two case of (-).there were statistically significant differences between the two group(P<0.05).Conclusion:c-Met and Telomerase play an important role in the occurrence development and the metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma and have close relationship with its prognosis, the abilities of metastasis and invasion in telomerase positive hepatocellular carcinoma are stronger than telomerase negative; quantitative detection of c-Met and Telomerase may be bring some significance to the clinical treatment and prognosis.
