Teeth whitening treatment was an important part of oral medical aes- thetics and one of the forfront of the field.The development of the field depend on high-end technology and new product support.Whitening tech- nology was one of the high representative of the technologies.Beyond cold-light bleaching was a good technique.At present, domestic and foreign technologies for whitening studies focused on clinical indications,effic- acy and safety.But the impact of bleaching on the tooth surface may chang the ultrastructure of enamel microstructure.Some scholars proposed that because of the restrictions of the research methodology,the body can not be accurately reflected in the environment. But there are many studies show that the morphology of enamel after tooth bleaching did not change significantly.These two views are controversial in current research areas.It is a urgent prolem that how to fix this micro- morphological changes,seeking the ideal non-toxic drugs to meet clinic need.The RecaldentTMCPP-ACP(casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calci- um phosphate)is the major component of Su GC.It can effectively combine with biofilm,plaque,bacteria,hydroxyapatite and provide adequate bioav- ailability of calcium and phosphorus,so as to make teeth remineralization.Objectives: The study aimed to evaluate the dental enamel surface morphology following cold-light bleaching with/without casein phosp- hopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) (Tooth Mousse , GC Corp., Tokyo,Japan) treatment.It provided an important reference value that CPP-ACP could promote a slight remineralization of enamel.Methods:thirty human adult were sectioned into three,the speciment divided and treated according to foure experimental group:A.cold-light ble- aching,B.cold-light bleaching and CPP-ACP paster ,C.cold-light bleaching and NaF.The silicone rubber mold of the leading front teeth were made quickly preoperative and after operative.Then mode was complexed with epoxy resin at 37℃incubator for 24 hours. The morphology of enamel surfaces were observed by AFM.Result: The enamel surface is smooth.A small pit-like lacunae,porous can be seen by AFM.But enamel column and interstitial can not be seen by AFM.After cold-light bleaching the enamel surface structure became rough and porous surface was uneven.Among treatment specimens of group A and B,A and C,a statistically significant difference(p<0.05)were registered. B and C no stastically difference was registered(p>0.05).Conclusions:1)Cold-light bleaching is safe.2)The use of a CPP-ACP paste had a protective effect on enamel demineralization.
