Objective:To investigate characteristics of benign and malignant breast diseases image with Radiofrequency Ultrasound Local Estimators(RULES) and evaluate the usefulness of RULES in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast diseases.Methods:82 lesions from 81 patients were examined by Esaote Technos MPX Color Doppler ultrasonography and RULES according to five aspects including Color varity, main color, the color degree of aggregation, the color distribution scope, percentage area of color. RULES method scoring system were established by analyzing malignant expected scores. ROC curve was used to evaluate the value of RULES.Results:â‘ Multiple color image types were more common both in Benign and malignant lesions with RULES, (57.8%vs94.6%), The difference had statistically significant (p<0.01); In benign lesions, green, scattered,5than the standard of which mainly in red, gather, multiple places,10%-24% as criteria the diagnosis of breast cancer. Conclusions:â‘ There were certain features between benign and malignant lesions in RULES image. It was helpful in differentiating between malignant and benign breast lesions.â‘¡RULES scoring system can be used to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of breast lesions.
