Objective:To Explore the obtained color display characteristics of benign Breast lesions byRadiofrequency Ultrasound Local Estimator (RULES), and to study the histologic foundation.Methods: Forty-five cases with 45 benign Breast masses were examined by two-dimensional andcolor Doppler ultrasonography before operation.Following the RULES,we analyzed andcollected images.The images were characterized from five aspects,including color types, themain color, the aggregation degree of color, the distribution range of color, the percentage areaof color.Finaly,masses were confirmed by surgery and pathology.We analyzed retrospectively thecharacteristics of breast masses and the corresponding histologic foundation.Results:①In 45 cases of benign breast nodules, the image features are to green-based,dispersion,and less color filled,the color area occupied <10%.②Green of RULES imagesprimary color and dispersion are the highest frequency in fibroadenoma, accounting for76%(13/17) and 82.4%(14/17).Compared with other pathological types were no significantdifferences (P>0.05).③Less color filled in RULES images was the significant feature ofhyperplastic nodules,the color area occupied <10% accounting for 80%(12/15).Compared withother pathological types were no significant differences (P>0.05).④The green primarly RULESimages are mainly in stromal hyperplasia fibroadenoma,hyperplasia with fibroadenoma andhyperplastic nodule on pathological examination.⑤The red primarly RULES images are mainlyin lobular hyperplasia fibroadenoma, hyperplasia with fibroadenoma and hyperplastic nodule onpathological examination.⑥The pathological type of images with blue in the central andsurrounded by red is cystic hyperplasia of breast.Conclusions:1.Radiofrequency Ultrasound images of benign breast lesions have definitefeatures.2.RULES can reflect the histologic features of benign breast lesions to a certain extent.
