Object:Discussing the relationship of female pelvic organ prolapse(POP) correlating risk factors and the severity of this disease, and further more to provide the reference for the prevention and treatment of the disease.Method:All of the 289 cases of female pelvic organ prolapse(POP)selected from the department of gynecology in the second Hospital of Shanxi medical university, the patient attendant because of pelvic organ prolapse or other benign disease during January,2005 to December,2009.We gather and retrospectively analyze their clinical data, reach group these risk factors. applicate SPSS 13.0 input and establish the database, Using two or more sets of orderly much the rank and inspection classified material and many factors logistic regression analysis inspection standardsα=0.05,P< 0.05 has statistical difference.Result:The incidence rate and severity of POP has close relationship with age and Body Mass Index(P <0.001),when the age is older than 50 years old, The older they are, The incidence rate and severity of POP are higher. The same as Body Mass Index. The increases of delivery times should be an important risk factor for POP.When the delivery time is more than three times, the increasing of delivery times is, the incidence rate and severity of POP are higher. The incidence rate of SUI has relationship with the severity of POP, but we can not think the severier of POP, the incidence of stress urinary incontinence is higher. Further more, there is no evidence to show that, the method of delivery, menopause or not, chronic constipation has relationship with The incidence rate and severity of POP.Conclusion:The incidence rate and severity of POP has relationship with age, body mass index and delivery times. But the influence of delivery times is not as significant as age and body mass index. The incidence rate of SUI has relationship with the severity of POP, but we can not think the severier of POP, the incidence of stress urinary incontinence is higher. There is no evidence to show that, the method of delivery, menopause or not, chronic constipation has relationship with the incidence rate and severity of POP.
