Objective:To analyze the clinicopathological features, prognostic factors of the patients with subtypes of breast cancer, and find out effected treatment options. Methods:We studied a cohort of 581 surgical patients with infiltrating ductal carcinoma, registered between March 2002 and March 2009 at cancer hospital of Guangxi medical university. Clinicopathological characteristics, prognostic factors and overall survival were analyzed. Results:The median age was 46 years old.214 patients were menopausal at diagnosis. There were only two patients with family history of breast cancer. There were 397 patients with Luminal A, which was the most percents of breast cancer(68.33%). The second is the Basal-like subtype, which were 68(11.70%). The least percents of breast cancer was the HER2+ type(8.95%).During the follow-up time,71 patients presented metastases or recurrence, and 47 patients were dead.Univariate analysis suggested that the characteristic of subtypes, estrogen receptor(ER), progesterone receptor(PR), HER2 were prognostic factors of stageâ…¡. Cox multivariate analysis demonstrated characteristic of subtypes was independent prognostic factor of stageâ…¡.Univariate analysis suggested that estrogen receptor(ER), age, state of menses were prognostic factors of stageâ…¢. Cox multivariate analysis demonstrated the characteristic of subtypes and age were prognostic factors of stageâ…¢.Conclusion:Early breast cancer has a better prognosis, molecular subtypes were the important factor with the prognosis. The state of ER,PR and HER2 has a significant impact to the stageâ…¡,â…¢.
