Objectives: Analyze the epidemiological characteristics and clinical characteristics of the lung cancer patients hospitalized and preliminary discuss the relationship between lung cancer asthma and tuberculosis. Methods: 4176 lung cancer cases'general situation and diagnosis were analyzed. Analyzed the incidence of tuberculosis and asthma from the epidemiology then compared the incidence of tuberculosis and asthma of the lung cancer cases. Results: There were 4176 patients diagnosed with lung cancer, and 2095 cases were non-smoker. The age of diagnosis group mainly between 46 to 65,and the majority of the clinical diagnosis patients were over 66.male patients with lung cancer is 2.3 times to the female. The tuberculosis proportion of the diagnosis group and clinical diagnosis patients are 6.97% and 19.88%, higher than the average level of Guangxi Province (136.38/10 million). The asthma proportion of the diagnosis group and clinical diagnosis patients are 0.70% and 0.92%, lower or similar to the general population (1%~13%). Among the 2868 lung cancer patients based on the pathology or cytology, 200 cases were diagnosed with tuberculosis or had a tuberculosis history, the proportion is 6.97% , and 20 cases diagnosed with asthma or had an asthma history, the proportion of asthma is 0.70%, and the difference between the two has statistical significance (P =0.000). Among non-smoker,1444 cases were based on the pathology or cytology, 83 cases were diagnosed with tuberculosis or had a tuberculosis history, the proportion is 5.75% , and 13 cases diagnosed with asthma or had an asthma history, the proportion of asthma is 0.90%, and the difference between the two has statistical significance (P =0.000). Conclusion: Compared to the general population, the chance of lung cancer cases complicated with asthma was similar or even lower. Lung cancer and pulmonary tuberculosis in patients with lung cancer are closely related, and the probability of lung cancer complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis was significantly higher than the general population.
