The Clinical Observation On Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan Liquid In Treating Acute Exacerbation Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease With Heat-Phlegm Obstructing Lung And The Impact Of Airway Mucus Hypersecretion

1.Purpose1.1 Observe the positive impacts of Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan liquid on the Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(AECOPD) and improvements of lung functions before and after treatment.1.2 Observe the positive impacts of Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan liquid on white blood cell of peripheral blood (WBC), neutrophile granulocyte (N), neutrophile percentage (N%) and compare the time of that at normal level.1.3 Observe the positive impacts of Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan liquid on the change of illterleukin-8 (IL-8) before and after the treament.1.4 The changes of WBC,N,N% and IL-8 before and after the treament,Intervention Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan liquid on treat the Lung-Kidney Tanre Zufei syndrome Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(AECOPD) mechanisms.2. MethodThe 60 AECOPD patients were randomly divided into two groups including 30 patients in therapy group and the other 30 patients in control group. Patients in therapy group were treated with Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan liquid (100ml, p.o, three times every day) on the base of conventional therapy not expectorant and patients in control group were treated only with conventional therapy. Course of treatment in both groups were 14 days. It was designed to investigate the changes of clinical symptoms, physical sign, pulmonary function, the levels of WBC,N,N% and IL-8. Both groups to carry out health education including smokeing cessation, oxygen and so on.3. Results3.1 Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan Tang can effectively improve the symptoms of AECOPD(compared with the control group,P<0.05). 3.2 Ingredients-Adding QingQi Huatan Tang can effectively improve the syndromes of AECOPD(compared with the control group,P<0.05).3.3 Great improvement can be seen after treatment for FEV1% and FEV/FVC% in the two experimental groups, but this is not significant in statistics。3.4 The WBC,N and N% level can be reduced in the two groups. But based on the course of treatment, treatment group is better than control group with the difference of statistical significance (P<0.05)3.5 The IL-8 level can be reduced in the two groups. But treatment group is better than control group with the difference of statistical significance (P<0.05).4. Conclusion4.1 Purging lung and dredge Decoction has the significant effect on improving the symptoms, syndrome and pulmonary function of patients with AECOPD。4.2 The therapeutic mechanism is an-inflammatory and reduce the level of oxygenation.The mechanism of an-inflammatory and reduce the level of WBC,N,N% and IL-8 have to be discussed deeply。...
