Objective:To prepare chitosan microspheres loading vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and to study the features such as the size distribution,drug content,controlled release of VEGF. The documents about it is unseen.methods:The first step, Chitosan microspheres were prepared by Berthold's method.Secondly, chitosan microspheres were loaded VEGF.Result:The surface of Chitosan microspheres loading VEGF is smooth. The diameter of microspheres were estimated to be about 200 to300 um.The drug content was 15ug/g. The drug envelope rate was 74.99%. In vitro release experiments demonstrated that the chitosan microspheres release the VEGF medicine. Initial period release rate could be quick, particularly in first 12-24 h, the medicine accumulation released 29%, after that the medicine release was steady gradually and would release 51% to the 7th day.Conclusion:Chitosan microspheres loading VEGF has the high envelope rate and the function of remarkable slow release VEGF.
