The Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Application Of Traditional Chinese Medicine On Pharyngal Cough

Objective:To observe efficacy and adverse effects of Recipe for Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine in treating Pharyngal Cough and taking chemical medicines as the control。Methods:Sixty patients with Pharyngal Cough entered the study and were randomized to treatment and control groups,30 case in each.The treatment group was given Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine, The control was given chemical medicine; The treatment group had been taken Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine for 5 times.The control group were given chuanwangxiaoyan particles for oral use for 7 days.Both groups were treated for a course.Observe the changes of symptoms and physical signs at the beginning and ending of the experiment.and record adverse reactions. Results:After counted with statistics,The clinical observations show that both groups are effective.The total effective rate of the treatment group is 86.67%,while the total effective rate of the control group is 70.00%.There is quite significant difference between them (P<0.05) The efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.All symptoms and signs of both groups were improved (P<0.05). There are no obvious adverse events in the treatment for two groups children. Conclusions:Acupoint Application has significant treating effects in Pharyngal Cough. Acupoint Application is a safe and effective drug of Chinese herbal medicine for Pharyngal Cough.
