Clinical Study Of Internal Carotid Artery Transient Ischemic Attack With The Stagnation Of Toxin Phlegm And Blood Stasis Treated Of Detoxicating And Stopping Wind Tang

Objective:To explore the efficacy of "Detoxicating and Stopping wind Tang"in treating the internal carotid artery transient ischemic attack with the stagnation of toxin phlegm and blood stasis,and to discuss its mechanisms.Methods:60 cases were divided into 2 groups at random,30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group. Aspirin Enteric-coated Tablets, Atorvastatin Tablets were administrated to the cases of control group."Detoxicating and Stopping wind Tang" and routine Western medicine were administrated to the cases of treatment group.Changes of clinical symptoms, signs and lab indexes were detected before and after treatment.Results:8 weeks later, we found total effective rate of treatment group was 93.33%, compared with control group, there was predominant difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the therapy of treatment group can lower TC,TG,LDL,WBC,HCT,Fg,D-dimer,hs-CRP,TXB2,ET,IMT and the positive rate of microembolic signal, and improve NO,6-keto-PGFla, there were predominant differences(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared with control group.the improvement of LDL,TXB2,6-keto-PGFla,HCT,Fg,D-dimer were predominant differences(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions:"Detoxicating and Stopping wind Tang" combined with normal western medicine can effectively treat internal carotid artery transient ischemic attack with the stagnation of toxin phlegm and blood stasis.
