Study On Community Service For The Aged In Urban Area

With the progress of the society, the number of the aged has become lager than before and will create various new problems. so, the problem of caring services for the aged will be the important and difficult point of work concerning senior citizens.Now,China's traditional family-based insurance of the elderly will take the responsibility for a very long time. But with the family structure miniaturization, caring services that household family can offer is on the decline. The sunset family support of old age evoked conflicts:on the one hand the demand for caring services is on the increase; on the other hand family caring resources is on the decline. The conflict is causing to face the severe challenge. How can the aged get enough caring services will be the important and difficult point of work concerning senior citizens and becoming the social focus.Based on investigating a large amount of documents, this paper takes Changning district, Shanghai as the research object. Analysis the communities services for the aged, put forward China's communities services content, services mode, services principal and safeguard mechanism for the aged in city with using the advanced experience of foreign counties.
