Objective:Clinical evaluation using recognized standards of ACR-20 and quality of life evaluation criteria HAQ (health assessment questionnaire) on TCM Disease Differentiation, differentiation combined with active rheumatoid arthritis treatment program for observation and evaluation. Methods:68 cases of rheumatoid arthritis heat resistance network card were randomly divided into the treatment group and western medicine treatment group, all 34 cases, treatment lasted 12 weeks.Results:1. TCM treatment group, comparison group, patients were able to improve joint pain, joint tenderness, joint swelling, flexion and extension negative, morning stiffness, such as Chinese medicine symptom score 6 score (P<0.05), traditional Chinese medicine treatment group on the joints, fever, thirst, sweat, urine yellow, dry stool, symptom score and other six Chinese than Western medicine to improve the control group (P<0.05). TCM symptoms and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and total effective than Western medicine to improve the control group (P<0.05).2. Reached ACR20 between the two groups and the total efficiency standards, no significant difference (P> 0.05).3.HAQ. DAS-28 scores between the two other two groups showed no significant difference (P> 0.05). Chinese medicine treatment group on pain assessment, evaluation of patients with the disease, the three doctors on the condition evaluation, improvement is better than western medicine group (P<0.05).4. Joint function, X ray staging before and after treatment and no difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of the efficacy of the treatment group and the total effective than Western medicine control group, but the two groups is evaluated according to ACR20 criteria was no significant difference.
