Clinical Observation Of Compound Mingzhu Ointment For Wounds Healing After Operation Of Anal Fistula

Objective:Through comparison with Jiu Hua Ointment that has assured efficacy,to observe the effect of compound Mingzhu Ointment for wounds healing after operation of Anal Fistula and whether it has adverse reactions in the course of medication,then to make a preliminary discussion on its therapeutic mechanism.Method:Cases with Anal Fistula were picked out and divided into the treatment group(30cases) and the control group(30cases) randomly. Clean the wound with sterile saline cotton balls after sitz bath in warm clean water, then after the surface water being absorbed, cover the treat group with compound Mingzhu Ointment smeared gauze after operation of Anal Fistula. The gauze is lmm thickness,0.5cm longer than the wound; Using the same method for the control group with Jiu Hua Ointment. Compare the wound area,wound healing rate, wound secretion, wound tissue form, healing time, and safety examination of the two groups patients in 5,14 and 21 days after surgery. Three weeks for a total course. Use SPSS 16.0 for all the data analysis, P<0.05 means the difference is significant.Results:There is one patient in control group exit the study because of adverse reactions,30 in treatment group,29 in control group,59 cases in total. Age, sex, wound area were similar between the two groups before treatment,and the curative effect after 3 weeks have no significant difference(P>0.05).1.Wound area:no significant difference between the two groups in 5,14,21 days in postoperation (P>0.05);2.wound healing rate:the treatment group is slower than the control group in the fifth day after surgery, the difference is significant(P<0.05); but faster in 14 and 21 days, the difference is significant(P<0.05).3.Wound secretion and wound tissue form:the treatment group's wound tissue form is slower than the control group in the 5th day after surgery, the difference is significant(P>0.05); but the wound secretion have no significant difference(P>0.05); no significant difference in wound tissue form(P>0.05) in the 14th day, but the wound secretion in treatment group is more than control group, the difference is significant(P<0.05); no significant difference for both the wound secretion and wound tissue form between two groups (P>0.05) in the 21st day after surgery.4.Wound healing time:no significant difference for wound healing time between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compound Mingzhu Ointment can obviously shrink wound area, shorten wound healing time and effectively promote wound healing without toxic and side-effect,worth to be widely used.
