Effects Of Leptin,Inflammatory Cell Factors With The Management Of Clearing Away Heat-evil And Resolving Phlegm In Patients With Acute Exacerbations Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract: Objectives: To observe the curative effect on acute esacerbations of chronic obstrucrive pulmonary disease(AECOPD) of Syndrome of Accumlation of Plegm-heat with the magnament of clearing away heat-evil and resolving phlegm by analyzing the levels of plasma leptin,tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a),interleukin-8(IL-8) in the blood,to discuss possible mechanism of e Management of Clearing Away Heat-evil and Resolving Phlegm,to offer experinment reasons for clinical healing。Methonds: 60 patients with AECOPD were randomly divided into two groups: 30 in control group were treated with conventional therapy,while the others in treatment group with conventional therapy in combination with Chinese traditional medicine Xingpa zhike granules(three times a day, a packet/time)for two-week。Medication before,7th,14th were respectively collected datas:1,leptin,TNF-a,IL-8(3ml from draw vein bloods);2,Arterial blood gas(2ml from draw femoral artery bloods);3,Lung function(medication before and after),whichs were progressing in statistical analysis.Result:1,After7th, leptin,TNF-a,IL-8 showed a remarkable reduction compared with the control group(P<0.05),especially14th,which significantly meaning (P<0.01);2,Arterial blood gas was displayed descent to PCO₂(P<0.05),raise up PO₂ compared with the control group(P<0.05);3,Lung function: FEV1,FVC,FEV1/FVC were significantly upgrade compared with the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:1,leptin,TNF-a,IL-8 levels were significantly lowed in treatment group(P<0.05), which to showed eliminating phlegm by cooling could be inhibition expressions with inflammatory cells;2,PCO₂ was decreased and PO₂ was raised up on arterial blood gas in treatment group(P<0.05),whichs to explained eliminating phlegm by cooling could be effectively to enhance PO₂,to low PCO₂;3,FVC,FEV₁,FEV₁/FVC were greatly inceased on lung function in treatment group(P<0.05), whichs to showed that Clearing Away Heat-evil and Resolving Phlegm may be effectively improve lung function.
