Objective:Through the observation of before and after treatment of their symptoms, signs of improvement with Heweijiangniliyan recipe treatment to LPR of the stomach-liver disharmony type, to further explore the Chinese medicine treatment of LPR theoretical content and clinical treatment of the disease more effectively. Methods: Selecting 60 patients of LPR of the stomach-liver disharmony type, using the methods of randomization, patients were divided into two groups:the treatment group and control group. The clinical symptoms and signs before and after improvement of the two groups of patients were recorded separately, statistical analysised using statistical software SPSS13.0, descriptive statisticsed, the measurement data using t-test, the count data with x2-test, the level of data analysis by Ridit, when the sample does not meet the normal distribution with the rank sum test. Results:By the statistical analysis, in the treatment group, the total effective rate is 80.00percent, and it is 76.67percent in the control group. The two groups in the total effective rate after treatment showed no significant difference(P<0.05). The treatment group compared with control group, there are significant differences in improving Excess throat mucus or postnasal drip,Troublesome or annoying cough,Erythema/hyperemia and Posterior commissure hypertrophy(P<0.05). The two groups in the treatment of patients with adverse events did not occur. Conclusion:The treatment group and control group are considerable in improving the clinical symptoms, signs total score. The treatment group is better than control group in improving Excess throat mucus or postnasal drip,Troublesome or annoying cough,Erythema/hyperemia and Posterior commissure hypertrophy.
