Evaluation Of Quality Of Life Scale EORTC QLQ-C30, QLICP-GM For Uyghur Cancer Patiemts

Objective:To translation and research the EuroPean Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer Core Quality-of-Life Questionnaire-Core 30exam and chinese self-created scale QLICP-GM the quality of life for Xinjiang Uyghur cancer patients,study the acceptability and evaluate the reliability,validity and responsiveness to change. Method:First we developed the Uygur language questionair by translation and back-translation and cultural adaptation the EORTC QLQ-C30 V3 Chinese version and QLICP-GM.Secondly we distributed these questionnaires to Uygur cancer patients in the Xinjiang Oncologicol hospital and investgated theirs quality of life(497 persons).Then we repeat investgated 497 persons of those patients,quality of life after three or five days.In addition,we investgated patients quality of life after three to six weeks the third time.Finally,we evaluate reliability,validity,responsiveness to change and acceptability of EORTC QLQ-C30and QLICP-GM.Results:1.(1) QLQ-C30evaluation of reliability: a.consistency reliability:Cronbach's a coefficient of this questionnaire is0.721 Cronbach's a coefficient of eachdomain is larger than 0.681.b. retest reliability:The test-retest correlation coefficients of all domains and overall scale all are larger than 0.5; The paired t-test indicated no statistically significant change between the first time and the second time(P>0.05).(2)evaluation of validity:commonfactors were extracted and the cumulative variance was 54.62%.(3)evaluation of responsiveness:The paired t-test indicated have statistically significant change between the first time and the third time(P<0.05).(4)evaluation of acceptability:The recovery rate is 96.42%and the complete rate is 95.44%.The time of complete questionnaire all less than 30 minutes.2. QLICP-GM (1) evaluation of reliability:a.consistency reliability:Cronbach's acoefficient of this questionnaire is0.798. Cronbach's a coefficient of each domain is larger than0.769.b. retest reliability:The paired t-test indicated no statistically significant change between the first time and the second time(P>0.05).(2)evaluation of validity:common factors were extracted and the cumulative variance was 57.32%.(3)evaluation of responsiveness: The paired t-test indicated have statistically significant change between the first time and the third time(P<0.05).(4)evaluation of acceptability:The recovery rate is 96.42%and the complete rate is 95.44%.The time of complete questionnaire all less than 30 minutes.Conclusion:The Uygur language questionair by translation and back-translation and cultural adaptation the EORTC QLQ-C30 Chinese version and chinese self-created scale QLICP-GM are reliable,valid,sensitive and feasible.It have reference value to estimate the quality of life Xinjiang Uygur cancer patients.
