Modern Research On The Etiopathogenisis And Pathogenensis Of Polycystic Ovary Synd Rome In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)is a endocrine disease caused by a variety of reasons.The clinical manifestations is polymorphic.Its main clinical features are high androgen levels and continuous anovulation.PCOS is one of the most common reasons which lead to menstrual disorder in the women of reproductive age.Therefore,the etiology of "polycystic ovary syndrome" is very important for the researcher to make treatment. There isn't the name of "polycystic ovary syndrome" in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Physicians classified it as "menstrual" or "Infertility" to PCOS.At present, according to the Chinese medicine research on PCOS,its etiology include congenital factors,acquired factors,emotional factors and physical factors. Present study show that congenital factors of PCOS'etiology include genetic transmission and intrauterine environment while acquired factors of etiology are associated with postnatal metabolic disorder and lifestyle.Furthermore, emotional factors and physical factors also play important roles in etiology of PCOS.
