| Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Qinxiang Zhixie Enteric-coated Tablets (QZET) on patients with xie xie of damp-heat type.Methods:90 patients with xie xie of damp-heat type were randomly divided into treatment group A and two control groups of control group B and C.30 patients in treatment group A were treated by QZET; 30 patients in control group B were treated by qinxiang zhixie comment-tablets wihe another 30 pationts in control group C were treated by changkang-tablets.The therapeutic course for any group were 5 days.Result:The total effective rate of xie xie in treatment group A was 93.3%,with a significantly effective rate of 90.0%,while the control group B was 86.7%, 76.7% and the control group C was 86.7%,73.3%. Furthermore,these rates of QZET for xie xie in the pattern of damp-heat type were 93.3%,86.7%, significantly superior to that of the Qinxiang zhixie comment-tablets 86.7%, 73.3%, and the Changkang-tablets,being 86.7%,70%. The differences of effect between the treatment group and the control group is meaningful in the Statistics(P<0.05).The onset time of bellyache,diarrhea was earlier in treatment group than that in control groups (P<0.05),the differences between them are meaningful too in the Statistics. There were many differences in comparison with pretreatment and post-treatment in Chinese single item symptom score in any groups.(P<0.01). After the groups treat, the Chinese medicine single item symptom integral comparison, the scorch of cute diarrhea,smelled stool and anus symptom scores of the treatment group was lower than that of the control groups obviously (P<0.05). The score of the nausea vomiting symptom in any group is the same, no obvious adverse reaction was observed during treatment in any group.Conclusion:QZET had high clinical efficacy and safety on patients with xie xie of damp-heat type. The treatment effect is obviousely better than the two control groups.
