Objective To study the relationship between heart rate turbulence, heart rate variability and HRT,HRV in different patients with acute coronary syndrome, relationship between heart rate turbulence, heart rate variability and HR,HRV in patients with acute coronary syndrome was tested. Methods 24h holter mornitoring was examined in 120 patients with ACS(this group was divided into three subgroups:40 patients with unstable angina pectoris,40 patients with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction and 40 patients with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction)and 40 healthy people as control. TO,TS and SDNN,RMSSD,PNN50,HF and LF were calculated from holter records, to analyze the relationship between HRT and HRV at the same time. Results Compared with normal group, TO in ACS group was significantly higher, TS in ACS group was significantly lower (P<0.05~0.01); SDNN,RMSSD and PNN50 in ACS group were significantly lower (P<0.01); The TO,TS value and RMSSD,PNN50 in ACS group had no significant difference (P>0.05), compared with UAP group, SDNN in STEMI group was significantly lower (P<0.05). TO was inversely correlated with SDNN(r=-0.523),HF(r=-0.412) and LF(r=-0.544).TS was positively correlated with SDNN(r=0.560),RMSSD(r=0.519),PNN50(r=0.510),HF(r=0.646)and LF(r=0.460).Conclusion HRT is significantly weakened and HRV is significantly lower in ACS patients, especially in STEMI patients; TS is mainly associated with the cardiac vagal efferent activity, TO may be modulated by both sympathetic and parasympathetic efferent activity.
