Objective:Through studying the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of testicular tumor, finding out the component trends of the disease and discussing the relationship of tumor markers and testicular tumor's diagnosis, stage, prognosis.Method:From analyzing the cases with testicular tumor treated in the First Teathing Hospital of Medical University and Cancer Hospital from December 2001 to December 2008, and the clicical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment retrospectively.Result:Of the total number,53 cases were pathlogically diagnosed as seminoma (44.2%),35 cases of noseminoma (29.2%) and 20 cases of testicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (16.7%). In the research course, the proportion of germ cell tumor among testicular tumor was from 40.1% to 74.3%. Along with the classification increasing, the proportion of seminoma withβ-HCG or HCG positive finding sufferers increased, the mean ofβ-HCG increased. One-year, three-year and five-year survival rates of tumor marker positive and negative of seminoma were 91.7% and 96.4%,82.9% and 84.8%,61.9%and84.8%. Comparing with the two sets's survival rate, there was no statistics disparity (P=0.187). The mean ofβ-HCG and AFP of noseminoma increased along with the classification increasing. One-year, three-year and five-year survival rates of tumor marker positive and negative of noseminoma were 87.5% and 88.9%,72.9% and 77.6%, 58.3% and 64.0%, there was statistics disparity (P=0.686). One-year, three-year and five-year survival rates of seminoma, nonseminoma and testicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma were92.6%, 88.6% and 85.0%; 84.2%,76.6% and 64.3%; 75.3%,62.4% and 35.7%. Comparing with the seminoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma's survival rate, there was statistics disparity (P= 0.002). Comparing with the nonseminoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma's survival rate, there was no statistics disparity (P=0.071), Comparing with the seminoma and nonseminoma's survival rate, there was no statistics disparity (P=0.248).Conclusion:1) Cryptorchidism is a risk factor for testicular cancer. History of cryptorchidism in testicular germ cell tumors is common, and seminoma than non-seminoma.2) Nonseminoma appears among the people under 40 years old; Seminoma occurs among the people from 30 to 50 years old; Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma has two peak periods which appear among the people of 40 years old and 70 years old.3) One-year, three-year and five-year survival rates for tumor marker negative of germ cell tumor were higher than those of tumor marker positive, but comparing with the whole survival rates there were no difference.4) One-year, three-year and five-year survival rates for seminoma were higher than those for nonseminoma, nonseminoma's are higher than those for testicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The types of pathology were the factors affecting the prognosis of patients.
