Objective:To explore feasibility of individual injection pattern by 64-detector row CT coronary angiography by constant group in contrast to variable group.Materials and Methods:1,General material52 cases had 64-slice MSCT scanning for coronary angiography. There were 32 male,20 female, and average age is 56.3years old. Clinical symptoms included precordium-precordia discomfort (n=15), Abnormal ECG (n=5), history of diabetes(n=5), history of hypertension (n=4), history of coronary artery disease (n=10), and health examination (n=13).Subjcets were excluded by obvious irregularity of cardiac arrhythmia, worse breathing, unability to match the exam, heart dysfunction, renal inadequacy and iodine contrast agent hyper sensitiveness. Everyone who would inject iodine contrast agent had to sign consent before enhanced CT scanning.2,Main instrument or equipmentRetrospective electrocardiograph (ECG)-gated coronary MSCT angiography was Performed with GE Light Speed 64 VCT. ECG monitor was made in America with type of E192114. The type of single-bucket high Pressure syringe was made in America with type of MEDRAD stellant PA 15051-0780 and non-ion contrast agent (Iopromide) with 370mgI/ml were used.injection parameter:coronary CTA was performed in 52 patients who were divided into two groups(constant group and variable group). In constant group(26 cases),75 ml iopromide bolus and 30ml saline at 4.5ml/s injection rate; in variable group(26cases),l ml/kg weight of total injection volume of iopromide was calculated, injection rate and opporunity of iopromide based on peak time of aorta maximum enhancement and determined total injection volume and injection opporunity of saline according to peak time of pulmonary artery maximum enhancement by Test bolus technique. Calculate and compare the two groups of contrast agent dosage, CT values of RA cavity, superior vena cava, left atrium and aorta and coronary; at the same time,Compared between the two groups image quality of coronary and display rate of small coronary blood vessels. Result:1,Total injection Dosage of contrast agent had statistical difference(P<0.05)by Mann-Whitney U-test; the variable group is less than constant group.2,The mean CT values of RA cavity, superior vena cava, aorta and coronary of two groups had statistical difference(P<0.05) by t-test; the variable group is higher than constant group for the enhancement values of aorta and coronary, the variable group is less than constant group for the enhancement values of RA cavity and superior vena cava.3,Besides of Second diagonal, proximal and middle of right coronary artery, Image quality score results of the other coronary artery had statistical differences(P<0.05) by Mann-Whitney U-test, the variable group is better than constant group.4,The visualization of sinus node branch and septum branch had statistical differences(P<0.05) by x2-test, the variable group is better than constant group. Conclusion:individual injection pattern with 64-detector row CT coronary angiography is feasible.
