The Application Value Of CTU In Diagnosing Upper Urinary Tract Diseases.

Objective:To investigate the practical values of the small dose of Furosemide used in CTU examination and CTU in diagnosing Upper urinary tract diseases.Methods:1. the volunteers who was done enhanced CT examination to exclude urinary tract diseases were randomly divided into two groups. Through the comparison of two groups, there was no significant difference in age. The two groups were asked to drink about 1000 ml water before enhanced CT examination. After the examination, the first group was injected 10 mg Furosemide and done CTU examination after 10 minutes. The second group was done CTU examination after 30 minutes. The speed of contrastmedia is 3ml/s and the amount of contrastmedia is 85-95mL.2.59 patients who have been diagnosed in upper urinary tract diseases through surgery pathology or non-surgery clinical confirmation were done CTU examination. The speed of contrastmedia is 3ml/s and the amount of it is 85-95mL. In order to assess the ureter Continuity the reconstruction of renal artery image, renal vein image and urinary tract Image been done at the 4 Phases.The reconstructive ways are VRT,MPR,MIP,CPR and etc. SPSS 13.0 was used to conduct independent-sample t-tests in analyzing the statistics of two groups. R×C one-way ANOVA and t-tests are used to analyze the reconstruction ways of the two groups.Results:1. There was Significant difference between the two groups of the ureter Continuity images with or without the small dose of Furosemide(P=0.000),but there was not Significant difference between the VRT and MIP(P=0.043).2. All the 59 patients'got high quality images and been proved the diagnoses correct.Conclusions:The characteristics of CTU are three-dimensional, intuition and detailed, the small lesions will not be neglected. The muti-reconstruction ways can show the little tumors, Inflammations, polyps, Urolithiasis and so on, which can not been found by IVU.CTU is a new type image examination way which can offer the vivid and reliable information on the disease of upper urinary tract. A small dose of Furosemide can make People'Catheters fully effluence and Ureter Continuous display, so we recommend the application of CTU. There was not Significant difference between the VRT and MIP in showing the urinary tract, MIP is better than VRT in showing the slim urinary.
