Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ceftriaxone versus cefixime for uncomplicated gonorrhea.Methods We searched Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library and CBM, CNKI,VIP.A worldwide collection of uncomplicated gonorrhea receiving ceftriaxone and cefixime in the treatment of clinical randomized controlled trials, regardless of whether to adopt the blind, there is no restrictions on language. The Cochrane Collaboration's RevMan 5.0 software was used for data analysis, with the relative risk and 95% CI for the efficacy and safety analysis of statistics.Results A total of 4 trials involving 976 patients were included and were compared the rate of bacterial clearance, the ceftriaxone and cefixime bacterial eradication rate and incidence of adverse reactions was no significant difference.Conclusion There is no significant difference between ceftriaxone and cefixime for uncomplicated gonorrhea.
