Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Compound Gui Zhi-Tang To Stable Angina Pectoris In Coronary Heart Disease With Yang Deficiency Cause Congealed Blood Syndrome

Objective:The purpose of this subject is to observe and evaluation the security and effectiveness of compound GuiZhi-Tang treatment of stable angina pectoris in coronary heart disease(CHD) with yang deficiency cause congealed blood syndrome, and to explore new methods of TCM treatment of CAD.Methods:The sixty stable angina pectoris in coronary heart disease (CHD) cases, which are chosen in the outpatient and the inpatient department aged from 40 to 75 years old in Guangdong NO.2 TCM hospital from Aug.,2008 to Dec.,2009, were randomized into treatment group and control group by 1:1 ratio. The treatment group was given compound GuiZhi-Tang(One packet each day,150ml per time, twice a day), the control group was given compound DanSen dripping pills(10pills each time, three times a day). The course of the treatment for both group is one month. Both groups used the sublingual administration of nitroglycerin during angina pectoris attacking, any other medicine for angina pectoris attacking was forbidden. The change of TCM symptoms improvement, decrease angina pectoris attacking and stopping and decreasing of Nitroglycerin rate, as well as EKG, Blood Fat, Rheology, liver and kidney function were observed before and after treatment to compare with the control group.Results:1,After the course of treatment, the total cure rate and effective rate of the treatment group were 83.3% and 13.3%, as the control group was 76.7% and 3.3%. The TCM symptoms improvement of the treatment group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The excellent effective rate and the effective rate of angina pectoris improvement of the treatment group was 40.0% and 86.7%, as the control group was 16.7% and 73.4%. These two group were comparable in excellent effective rate of angina pectoris improvement(P< 0.05), but the two group total effectiveness non-significance difference (P >0.05). The stopping and decreasing of Nitroglycerinf between the treatment group and the control group were 83.3% and 70.0%, no significant differences (P>0.05). But the stopping of Nitroglycerinf of the treatment group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). It indicated that the treatment group has certain advantages in relieving the clinical symptoms, decreasing angina pectoris attacking and decreasing of Nitroglycerin.2,The effective rate of EKG improvement of the treatment group and the control group were 83.3% and 70.0%. There's no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). TC,HDL,LDL of both groups were reducing(P<0.05), and TG was not significantly different in the both groups (P>0.05). Hematocrit, plasma viscosity, the low notch viscosity and high notch viscosity of the whole blood of the treatment group were significantly different with those of the control group(P<0.05), especially hematocrit and high notch viscosity of the whole blood (P<0.01). It indicated that the treatment group has certain advantages over the control group in improving EKG's ST elevation and T-wave, and reducing blood-fat and blood viscosity.3,ALT, AST, BUN and Cr showed almost the same before and after the treatment, no worsening was found. No adverse reactions occurred in the clinical treatment process of both groups.Conclusion:Compound GuiZhi-Tang can improve clinical symptoms and signs on the patients of stable angina pectoris in coronary heart disease(CHD). The purpose of cure the root cause and symptoms of stable angina pectoris in coronary heart disease(CHD) (turbid phlegm blocks in the interior;Qi stagnation and blood stasis)was truly realized. Compound GuiZhi-tang is of great clinical value.
