Clinical Study Of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction In Treating Multiple Intermediate Coronary Stenosis With Stable Angina Pectoris (Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective The paper is to investigate the effects of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction on TCM syndromes,angina pectoris symptoms and quality of life in treating multiple intermediate coronary stenosis with stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),and to evaluate its effectiveness and safety.Methods Seventy patients of multiple intermediate coronary stenosis with stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)were selected.They were randomly divided into Chinese medicine group and comparison group,with 35 patients in each group.The comparison group was routinely treated with Western medicine.On this basis,the Chinese medicine group applied Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction,150 ml each time,twice a day,for 8 weeks.After medication,the changes of the therapeutic indicators such as TCM symptoms,quality of life,angina pectoris,blood lipid levels and liver and kidney function were observed.Results Two patients in the Chinese medicine group did not take Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction according to the requirements.One patient in the comparison group did not review the biochemical indicators at the end of the study.There were 67 patients,33 patients in Chinese medicine group and 34 patients in comparison group.There was no significant difference in baseline before treatment.The results were shown after 8weeks of treatment:(1)Blood lipids: The TC?TG?LDL-C levels were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),there was no difference between the groups after treatment(P>0.05).There was no improvement in HDL-C levels in both groups after treatment(P>0.05).(2)IL and Hcy: There was no significant changes in IL-6,IL-8 and Hcy levels in the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).(3)Symptoms of angina pectoris : Both groups can alleviate the symptoms of angina pectoris(P<0.05),and the effect of Chinese medicine group is more obvious after treatment(P<0.05).Comparison of the reduction rate of nitroglycerin after treatment,the effect of Chinese medicine group is more obvious(P<0.05).(4)TCM symptoms: The total score of TCM syndrome in the two groups was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the decrease was more significant in the Chinese medicine group after treatment(P<0.05).Both groups can improve TCM symptoms of chest pain,chest tightness,palpitations,shortness of breath and fatigue(P<0.05),and the effect of Chinese medicine group is more obvious after treatment(P<0.05).But no effect on facial dark purple(P>0.05).(5)ECG efficacy: There was no significant difference in the effect of ECG between the two groups after treatment(P >0.05).(6)Seattle angina questionnaire: Both groups can improve the activity restriction,the stable state of angina pectoris and the quality of life of angina pectoris attack(P<0.05),but no significant change in satisfaction degree and disease recognition score after treatment(P>0.05).(7)safety evaluation: There were no significant changes in liver,kidney function and hemoglobin after treatment(P>0.05),and no adverse events.Conclusions1.Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction has the ability to improve the TCM syndromes,angina pectoris symptoms and quality of life,to reduce the utilization rate of nitroglycerin in treating multiple intermediate coronary stenosis with stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).2.Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction can be used safely in treating multiple intermediate coronary stenosis with stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),and no adverse events.
