| ObjectiveThe efficacy of resection versus internal fixation for Mason typeⅡandⅢcomminuted fractures of radial Head.In clinical treatment the choice of such fractures' surgical method is provided references.MethodsA computer based online search of MEDMLINE, PUBMED and so on was undertaken to identify the articles about the efficacy of resection versus internal fixation for Mason typeⅡandⅢcomminuted fractures of radial head.Four articles wereSelected. The results indicated that the bias consist in four studies. The quality of the included trials was assessed. RevMan software was used for statistical analysis.ResultsFour articles were included(4 CCT). A total of 159 patients were collected. It supported that pain scores Broderg and Morrey scores complication were greater in internal fixation group. Result was same in two groups of the flexion of elbow and pronation supination.ConclusionAlthough result obtained on the basis of CCT with a lager bias, We still conclude that better strength and better overall functional outcome were more observed in the internal fixation in the clinical outcome than that of resection;More high quality, large—scale randomized controlled trials are required for the issue. |
