ObjectiveIn order to evaluate the role ofβ-arrestinl level in the disease of SLE and fine the correlation between it and the disease activity.MethodsThe serum of 31 SLE patients and 31 healthy controls were collected; Based on the activity of SLE, the 31 SLE patients were divided to active SLE group and inactive SLE group. Simultaneously, descripe the clinical feature, laboratory index were recorded at the time of peripheral blood sampling. The concentration of serumβ-arrestin1 in the SLE patients and healthy controls were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Elisa).Resultsthe concentration of serum P-arrestinl was significantly lower in the SLE patients than that in the healthy controls (median:0.252±0.159ng/ml vs 0.501±0.171ng/ml, p= 0.00<0.05). The concentration of serumβ-arrestinl in the active SLE group is lower than that in the inactive SLE group (median:0.133±0.111ng/ml vs 0.342±0.137ng/ml, p =0.000<0.05). The concentration of serumβ-arrestinl in SLE whose ANA is 1:80 is lower than that whose ANA is 1:40,(0.214±0.107ng/ml VS 0.383±0.161ng/ml P=0.024<0.05)Conclusionthe concentration of serumβ-arrestinl in SLE patients elevated compared to the controls, which suggestedβ-arrestinl may take part in the pathology of SLE. the concentration of serumβ-arrestinl in SLE has negative correlation with the disease activity.
