Objective To analyze the prognostic factors of patients with malignant ovarian germ cell tumor (MOGCT).Methods A total of 45 patients with MOGCT were retrospectively reviewed, among whom 40 patients had primary treatment at the first affiliated hospital of Guang Xi Medical University between 1997 and 2009. The other five patients were primarily treated outside.Result To study patients, 20 immature teratoma (IT), 11 endodermal sinus tumor, 8 dysgerminoma, 6 mixed germ cell tumors. The median follow-up was 21 months (range, 8-155months).The 1-year and 5-year survival rate were 90% and 81%.The survival rate of fertility-preserving surgery was 94%, while the survival rate of radical surgery was 83.3%, which was no significant impact on prognosis. Conclusion Conservative surgery and postoperative standard chemotheraphy can improve prognosis and long-term survival. |
