Objective To explore postoperative clinical effects of Stereotaxic hematoma punction and aspiration treating intraventricular hemorrhage in contrast to simple ventriculopunture treating intraventricular hemorrhage in order to search for a safe, effective operation method of clinical value to be spread with favourable postoperative survival rate and quality. Methods Retrospective analysis 80 cases of IVH at department of neurosurgery of the forth attached hospital in Guangxi Medical University from June 2006 to 0ctober 2009 divided into 2 groups according to operative method: stereotaxic group and ventriculopuncture group, each group of 40 examples; Some potential preoperative influence factors such as age, sex, bleeding part, hematoma volume, Intraventricular hematoma ,GCS at hospitalization were treated by statistics to eliminate difference and reinforce comparability between groups. Some factors like postoperative survival state, the time of hematoma disappearance, efficacy at postoperative 30 day and complications cases such as pulmonary infection, alimentary tract hemorrhage, recurrent bleeding, ventriculomegaly,Intracranial infection and the quality of life 3 months later were record in each group and carried out control study. Results To analyse the time of hematoma disappearance ,complications, efficacy at postoperative 30 day and the quality of life 3 months later and of each factor:stereotaxis group show statistics significance(P<0.05) in contrast to o simple ventriculopuncture group. Conclusion Stereotaxis hematoma punction and aspiration treating IVH manifests operation trauma tinyer, hematoma disappearing faser, incidence rate of complications lower, survival quality better than the other. It is a better surgical method to IVH.
