Objective:To investigate the incidence of cervical cancer, the clinical characteristics and histological types in patients under 35 years old and over 35 years old, the risk factors and distribution pattern of lymphy node metastasis in cervical cancer. Methods:To retrospective analysis and summary the clinical and pathology data of 382 patients from 2007 to 2009 in QiLu Hospital and lymphy node metastasis in 241 patients.Results:1.The age of patients is from 24 to 83.The averaged age is 47.83 years old,and the peak focus on 36~45.Squamous carcinoma accounts for 74.35% (284 cases), averaged age of which is 47.24 years old.Adenocarcinoma accounts for 17.28% (66 cases), averaged age of which is 49.14 years old. Others account for 8.38% (32 cases), averaged age of which is 49.81 years old.2.For patients younger than 35 years old, main symptom is contact bleeding, accouting for 53.70%, fllowed of which are abnormal leucorrhoea (22.22%),irregular vaginal bleeding (11.11%) and no symptom (12.96%). While for patients more than 35 years old, main symptom is contact bleeding, accouting for 47.87%, fllowed of which are irregular vaginal bleeding (28.96%),abnormal leucorrhoea (16.76%) and no symptom (6.40%).And patients below 35-year-old, expressing irregular vaginal bleeding, are more than ones over 35-year-old (P<0.05). For patients younger than 35 years old, Squamous carcinoma accounts for 72.22% (39 cases),adenocarcinoma accounts for 14.81% (8 cases),others account for 12.96% (7 cases). While for patients more than 35 years old, Squamous carcinoma accounts for 75.00% (246 cases),adenocarcinoma accounts for 17.38% (57 cases),others account for 7.62% (25 cases).3. There are 56 case appearing lymphy node metastasis, the rate of which is 23.24% (56/241). Lymphy node metastasis is associated with the factors such as size of tumor, deep cervical stromal invasion, parametrial involvement and clinical stage (P<0.05).While there is no association with age, pathological type and grade of differentiation (P>0.05).In 56 node-positive patients,22 cases appear multiple sites lymph node metastasis, accounting for 39.29%,34 cases appear single site lymph node metastasis, accounting for 60.17%.Parametrial lymph node metastasis occurs in 3 cases(5.36%).Obturator lymph node metastasis occurs in 39 cases(69.64%).Iliac lymph node metastasis occurs in 33 cases(58.93%).Inguinal lymph node metastasis occurs in 4 cases(7.14%).Para-aortic lymph node metastasis occurs in 1 cases(1.79 %)Conclusions:1.The distrubution of patient's age shows a single peak that focus on 36-45.There has been a younger tendency of occurrence of cervical cancer,so cervical cancer census should be enhanced in younger women. The averaged age of Squamous carcinoma is slightly lower than non-squamous carcinoma, but statistical significance of averaged age of different histological types needs further study.2. The main symptoms of patients under 35 years old are contact bleeding and abnormal leucorrhoea, while those of patients over 35 years old are contact bleeding and irregular vaginal bleeding. And irregular vaginal bleeding is more common in patients over 35 years old (P<0.05). There is no difference between distribution of histological types of the two groups (P>0.05).The difference of the proportion of the same histological type in two group needs further study.3. Size of tumor, deep cervical stromal invasion, parametrial involvement and clinical stage are relatedto lymphy node metastasis of cervical cancer. Single site lymph node metastasis is more common, especially in obturator and iliac lymph node.
