| Objective:To study and contrast the clinical application efficacy of rapamycin-eluting stent between home-made and imported.Materials and Methods:This article summarized 85 patients in our department from June 2008 to August 2009. These patients were divided into two groups, the Firebird stent group and the Cypher stent group. There were 40 patients in Firebird stent group and 45 patients in Cypher stent group. There were 43 Firebird stents and 49 Cypher stents implanted in the 85 patients. The endpoint of the study was to contrast the immediate effect of Firebird stent and the Cypher stent and to follow-up visited instent thrombosis and major adverse cardiac events after six months.Results:The differences of mean age, male ratio, smoking history, drinking history, stroke, hypertension, hyperlipemia, diabetes, constant angina, unconstant angina, acute myocardial infarction and olden myocardial infarction were insignificant statistically between two groups, P >0.05.The differences of implanted stents'length and diameter were insignificant statistically between two groups, P>0.05. The differences of TIMI blood stream before and after implanting stent were insignificant statistically between two groups, P>0.05. There didn't have acute instent thrombosis to form at implanting stent in the two groups. Clinic follow-up visit after 6 months, there didn't have acute and subacute instent thrombosis forming, no recidivation myocardial infarction and death in the two groups. The differences of recidivation angina, chronic instent thrombosis forming and MACE were insignificant statistically between two groups, P>0.05.Conclusion:â‘ There was no significant difference between home-made and imported rapamycin-eluting stent in the immediate effect.â‘¡The near future therapeutic efficacy of home-made and imported rapamycin-eluting stent was similar.
