Objective:Increasingly, patients with previous heart surgery require aortic valve replacement. The contemporary etiopathogenisis and risk of reoperative aortic valve replacement after previous he-art surgery is ill defined. So we therefore to explore and conclude the etiopathogenisis and risk of reoperative aortic valve replacement after previous heart surgery. Methods:To review the patient datas on 232 patients who receive the reoperative aortic valve r-eplacement after previous heart surgery from Jan 1990 to Jue 2009 in the Department of cardior-acic Surgery of Changhai Hospital of Second Military Medical University.Results:(1). etiopathogenisis:development of aortic vale rheumatic diseases. prosthetic valve dys-function or prosthetic valve complications, aortic valve disease after surgery of congenital heart disease. Some variables included in different etiopathogenisis is significatant. (2). After patients w-ho previous have received surgery of congenital heart diseases received aortic valve replacement, there is no patients death. (3).S-crea≥100mol/L is a significant risk factor for mortality. (4).The m-ean follow-up for survivors(n=163)is seven years. The follow-up mortality is 10%.The 5-Years,10-Years,15-Years freedom of follow-up mortality is 92.3%,89.7%,89.7%.Conclusion:(1). development of rheumatic diseases, periprosthetic leak, arotic valve disease after closure of ven-tricular septal defect or surgical of ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm are the most common cause for this reoperative heart surgery. (2).The outcomes of aortic valve replacement after surgery of congenital heart diseases are well. Increase in s-crea is a marker for patients with increased cardiac risk factors and the risk for poor outcomes. (3).The long-term survivous for this group is well.
