The Clinical Application Of Posterior Podicle Scream Combined With Fusion Cage In Lumbar Spondylocisthesis

Objective:To analyze the clinical application of pedicle screw system combined with fusion cage in lumbar spondylolisthesis.Method:Retrospective analysis of 36 cases of spondylolisthesis were treated with pedicle screw system combined with fusion cage the application, including 22 males and 14 females and aging 22-64 years. According to Newman type:5 cases of degenerative spondylolisthesis, isthmic spondylolisthesis in 25 cases crack, crack isthmus in 6 cases were not significantly slip, but long-term low back pain. Aocording to the Meyerding-evaluating system,11 cases were classified as degree I,17 cases as degree II, and 2 cases as degree III. The affected lumbars were L3(5 cases), L4(8 cases), and L5(17 cases), L4isthmic spondylolisthesis crack with L5 segment in 1 case,6 cases of spondylolysis cases of crack segments as L,(2 cases), L5(4 cases).6 cases of isthmic spondylolisthesis crack phenomenon has not yet appeared clear, but long-term low back pain.Results:All 36 cases of screw and fusion Cage were successfully placed. All of the embedded osseous were fused. The fusing time was from 3 to24 months, fusion rate of 100%. There were no breakage of screw and rod. The position and configuration of the whole cages were good. According to Dewei Zhou's creterior for scoring, the results were excellent in 28 cases, good in 6cases, and fair in 2 cases. The excellent and good rate was 94.4%.Conclusion:Applying the posterior pedicle screw system combined with interbody fusion cage may achieve synergism in the treatment of lumbar vertebral spondylolisthesis. Above procedure is served as solid internal fixation and offers a satisfactory reduction, and can improve the fusion rate of the spine. So it is an ideal procedure and worthily recommended method for treatment of lumbar vertebral spondylolisthesis.
