| Objective:To invertigate the change and relative metabolic indices of serum leptin,bone mineral density and diabetic macroangiopathy, for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in yanbian to provide theory basis for prevention of diabetes osteoporosis and diabetic macroangiopathy effectively.Research object and methods:Chose 30 cases normal people and 56 cases patients with type 2 diabetes randomly, recorded nation, gender, age, body mass index(BMI), course duration of menopause,course of disease etc,determined fasting blood glucose(FBG), postprandial blood glucose (PBG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlC), harnzucker, triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol(CHO), high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C). Determined fasting serum leptin level by method of RIA, checks carotid and bone mineral density (BMD) of right ankle by American ACUSON type-B ultrasonic diagnostic instrument, American Achilles ultrasound OsteoReport.Results:(1)The serum leptin level (10.24±3.53μg/ml) of patients with type 2 diabetes was higher than normal group (7.72±3.87μg/ml) significant (P< 0.05). (2)The serum leptin level of women was significant higher than men. The normal control group of women was 9.78±3.93μg/ml, men was 7.72±2.54μg/ml; groups with type 2 diabetes of women was 12.30±2.09μg /ml, men was 7.68±2.41μg/ml, Women was 11.42±3.42μg/ml, men was 6.87±2.64μg/ml in all. (P<0.01) (3)The serum leptin level, the patients of BMI≥25Kg/m2 was significant higher than patients of BMI<25Kg/m2 with type 2 diabetes. (serum leptin level were 11.09±3.03μg/ml and 9.50±3.81μg/ml) (P<0.05). (4)The rate of osteoporosis in patients with type 2 diabetes (30.36%) was significantly higher than normal control group (13.33%). The bone mineral density level of Chaoxian nationality was lower than Han nationality. (P<0.05) (5)The serum leptin lever of macroangiopathy with type 2 diabetes higher than no macroangiopathy. (6)Statistical analysis showed that The serum leptin leveL was positive correlation with BMI, CHO and age. (P<0.05) and no correlation with nation, course duration of menopause, course of disease, blood sugar, HbA,C and TG. The bone mineral density was negative correlation with postprandial blood glucose, HBA1C and harnzucker. No correlation with age, gender, course duration of menopause, course of disease and fasting blood glucose.Conclusions:(1)The serum leptin level of women was significant higher than men. (2)The serum leptin level of patients with type 2 diabetes significant higher than normal group; The serum leptin level was positive correlation with BMI, CHO and age. (3)Leptin probably participate with type 2 diabetes patients form macroangiopathy. (4)Bone mineral density level of patients with type 2 diabetes was lower than normal group, the Chaoxian nationality was lower than Han nationality. (5)The bone mineral density was negative correlation with postprandial blood glucose, HBA1C and harnzucker. |
