Therapeutic Effects And Mechanism Of Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin On Kidney Essence Insufficiency Of The Male Mice

Objective:Established the animal model of kidney essence insufficiency, and observed the growth, development, serum hormone levels, endurance, metabolism, antioxidant capacity and pathological changes of the mice, to explore the therapeutic effects and mechanism of Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin on nourishing kidney essence.Method:1. The mice were divided into 6 groups:normal group, model group, Jingui Shenqi Wan group, Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin high-dose, middle-dose and low-dose groups. Except normal group, others were established the animal model of kidney essence insufficiency. Starting from the eighth day, model group was given saline, Jingui Shenqi Wan group was given Jingui Shenqi Wan, and Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin high-dose, middle-dose and low-dose groups were given different concentration Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin respectively for 14 days. Then observed the general situation of animals, measured weights and organ weights, calculated organ indexes and detected the quantities of testosterone (T), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) in serum.2. The mice were divided into 3 groups:normal group, model group and treatment group. Except normal group, others were established the model of kidney essence insufficiency. Starting from eighth day, model group was given saline, treatment group was given Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin for 14 days, then observed the swimming time, the climbing time, hepatic glycogen and blood lactate(BLA).3. The mice were treated as method 2, then observed the superoxide dismutase (SOD), malonaldehyde (MDA) and pathological changes of brain and testis.Result:Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin could obviously improve the symptom of kidney essence insufficiency, increase the weights, organ weights and the quantities of T, FSH, LH effectively, prolong the swimming time and climbing time, increase the quantity of hepatic glycogen, enhance the activity of SOD, decrease the level of BLA and MDA. Compared with the model group, there was a significant difference. In addition, Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin could improve the pathological damage of brain and testis.Conclusion:T, FSH, LH, SOD and hepatic glycogen are considered the kidney essence of the body. Modified Jinsuo Erxian Yin plays a role of nourishing kidney essence by promoting the growth and development, adjusting the levels of serum hormone, improving the state of pathology and affecting the metabolic capacity and antioxidant value of kidney essence insufficiency mice.
