Background:The incidence of stroke, high morbidity, seriously endangering the health of human life. Post-stroke shoulder pain is a common problem, according to foreign reports the incidence of post-stroke shoulder pain was 16-72%, internal reporting, compared with 5-84%. Post-stroke shoulder pain occurred in the first 2 weeks, more than 2-3 months later. Most scholars believe that the cause of stroke shoulder pain may be multifactorial, improper handling and positioning may also lead to back pain. Stroke shoulder pain of the main reasons for that are:glenohumeral subluxation, shoulder muscle cramps, decreased muscle strength around the shoulder, impingement syndrome, soft tissue injury, rotator cuff tear, shoulder-hand syndrome or reflex sympathetic Nutrition disorders, brachial two tendinitis, thalamus syndrome, brachial plexus injury and so on. In position of patients with conversion, balance, activities of daily living (ADL) and effective upper limb functional activities of both,it causes different degrees of inhibition. Therefore, early prevention and effective treatment of post-stroke shoulder pain is particularly important in the whole treatment of stroke rehabilitation. Objective:By comparing the efficacy between abdominal-acupuncture combined with modern rehabilitation treatment and simple modern rehabilitation treatment for post-stroke shoulder pain, we attempt to clear the treatment of significance of abdominal-acupuncture therapy for post-stroke shoulder pain and explore the role of abdominal-acupuncture therapy mechanism. Methods:This study randomized controlled study of law. The patients meeting the standards are divided according to the time of admission by random finto the treatment and control groups. Two groups were given a basic modern rehabilitation treatment. In addition, the treatment group received abdominal acupuncture treatment. By programme for each treatment, patients before treatment and after treatment three weeks are respectively given evaluation of VAS, MBI and Fugl-Meyer of upper limb, according to the score under the functional evaluation and the extent of post-stroke shoulder pain for Clinical judgement. In addition, we could record the adverse reactions in the treatment of the two groups and evaluate the safety of the two treatment methods. After the end of the treatment course, two men will enter the collected information into the computer, using software packages SPSS13.0 management and statistical analysis. The statistical methods are used Chi-square test and rank-and-testing.The results:1. Cases included a total of 30 cases, that the treatment group of 15 cases and 15 cases of the control group. No cases of loss and death. After treatments, the VAS score, MBI score and the Fugl-Meyer score of upper limb all have a significant improvement than those before treatment (P<0.05). In VAS scores, the treatment group improved more significantly than the control group(P <0.05). In the MBI score and the Fugl-Meyer score of upper limb, no significant difference shows between the two groups(P> 0.05).2. In the whole treatment no patient have adverse reaction. Conclusion:It shows that the both two treatments in this study have significant effects of post-stroke shoulder pain. The treatment group have better efficacy than the control group on pain relief. Two groups have no significant difference in efficacy of improving motor function and daily self-care ability. Both treatments have good safty.
