The Primary Clinical Study Of "Zhen Zhu Fu Ling Tang" On Hepatic Fibrosis In Chronic Hepatitis B

[Objective] To observe the effect of Zhen Zhu Fu Ling Tang on patients with the TCM Syndrome of insufficiency of healthy energy and epidemic wet—heat toxin of hepatic fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B.[Methods] This research abides by the principle of random contrast.50 patients with the TCM Syndrome of insufficiency of healthy energy and epidemic wet—heat toxin of hepatic fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B were random dividee into the two groups, each 25, one for treatment and the other for control. For treatment group, treated by our traditional Chinese medicine Zhen Zhu Fu Ling Tang, otherwise in control group, entecavir was used. Each therapeutic courses was 3 months, this research abserved 1 therapeutic courses.The observation was designed to investigate the changes of clinical syndrome, the serum level liver function, markers of Hepatitis B virus, the serum lever of hepatic fibrosis, APRI, FibroIndex and ultrasonic B examination before and after the treatment. Clinical symptoms are lacking strength, pain of rib, inappetence, expanding of abdomen, weakness of waist and knee, dryness of mouth. Hepatic function indexes are ALT, AST, GGT. The serum fibrosis makers are hyaluronic acid(HA), procollagenⅢ(PCⅢ), collagenⅣ(Ⅳ-C), Laminin (LN). Hepatic viral makers are HBV-DNA. The formula of APRI is [100*AST (ULN) /PLT (10e9/L)].The formula of FibroIndex is [D=-6.29+1.678×ln(year)-1.786×In(PLT)+1.177×In(GGT)+1.019×In(HA), FibroIndex=10XeD/(1+eD)]. B-type ultrasonic examination indexes are length of hepatic right oblique pathway, wideness of portalvein, thickness of spleen vein, thickness of spleen. As the same time to analyse the both groups results.[Results] The fol lowing are result of the treatmens. 1,After the treatment, clinical symptom scores decreased significantly in both groups (P<0.05), but the treatment group than the control group, the difference was significant (P＜0.05).2,comparison of two groups of Hepatic function (ALT,AST,GGT) improved after treatment, two groups of Hepatic function were significantly improved (P<0.05), between the two groups was significant difference (P<0.05), prompt treatment of the hepatic function better than the control group.3,the two groups after treatment, The number of HBV-DNA level decreased (P<0.05), but the treatment group compared with the control group, HBV-DNA volume change was no significant difference (P>0.05).4,the two groups after treatment, HA,Ⅳ-C and PC-Ⅱwere more than that before treatment a significant reduction (P<0.05), between the two groups, HA andⅣ-C to reduce the level of the treatment groups see good, the difference was significant (P<0.05).5,Ratio of the two groups before treatment, APRI, Fibrolndex values were decreased (P<0.05), but between the two groups to see the advantages of the treatment group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).6,B-type ultrasonic examination indexes were improved as regards wideness of portal vein and thickness of spleen.7,Comparison of toxicity and side effects:There were no adverse reactions, toxicity and side effects.[Conclusions] Zhen Zhu Fu Ling Tang can improve hepatic fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B clinical symptoms and hepatic function, but also has some effect on hepatic fibrosis. Although the treatment group in improving clinical symptoms, hepatic function and serum fibrosis makers in some areas better than the control group, but the data on the current terms could not show that the effect of the treatment group better than the control group of anti-hepatic fibrosis. Zhen Zhu Fu Ling Tang of anti-liver fibrosis and the specific mechanism needs further observational study.
