Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value and preoperative staging ability of 64-SCT in bladder cancer. Methods:The 64-SCT and Ultrasound imaging data of 50 cases with bladder cancers confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results:The numbers of cancer focus found with 64-SCT obviously exceeded with ultrasound in all 76 cancer foci of urinary bladder, and their difference was significant (p<0.05). The cancer foci were enhanced more intensively than the walls of urinary bladder in arterial phase.64-SCT was obviously superior to ultrasound in finding encroaching on pelvic wall and pelvic lymph nodes. The 64SCT staging of BC was quite correlated to the operative and pathologic staging.75% of transitional cell cancers originated in the lateral wall, hanging wall of urinary bladder, and only 19% took place in the triangular area of bladder.3 cases of bladder adenocarcinoma all took place in the triangular area of bladder.24% of all bladder cancer foci took place in the triangular area of bladder. Conclusion:It is suggested that CT staging could reflect the malignant degree of the tumor to a great extent. With the highest sensitivity in detection of the lesions,64SCT was the most valuable imaging examination.
