Curative Effect Of Minimally Invasive Surgical Treatment For Upper Ureter Complicated Stone

ObjectiveTo discuss minimally invasive surgical treatment for upper ureter complicated stone.MethodsFrom January 2008 to August 2009,1 Division of the diagnoisis of complicated ureteral stones. Respectively,using extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL),ureteroscopic (URL),percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL) three kinds of minimally invasive surgical methods,of which 20 cases with ESWL treatment (ESWL group),10 cases with URL therapy (URL group),49 cases with PCNL treatment (PCNL group),compared three groups of stone-free rates and complications.ResultsThe results of stone-free success rate of ESWL group was 35.0%(7/20),URL stone-free success rate was 70.0%(7/10). PCNL group of stone-free success rate was 100%(49/49). Postoperative fever after ESWL group 10%(2/20), URL group 10%(l/10),PCNL group 24.5%(12/49). Hematuria 3 days after ESWL group 15% (3/20).URL group 20%(2/10),PCNL group 30.6%(15/49).PCNL group was significantly higher than ESWL,URL group.A statistically significant difference(P< 0.05).Three groups of complications just from the numerical point of view,PCNL group,fever,hematuria was significantly higher than ESWL group,URL group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).ComclusionPCNL surgery has become the treatment of complicated ureteral calculi on the mainstream technology and best methods.
