Abstract/Summary:
ObjectiveProphylactic use of low molecular weight heparin in orthopedic surgery is safe and effective anticoagulant therapy reduced the incidence of deep vein thrombosis rate.MethodsCollection of 2004-2009, bone surgery hospital medical 386, of which 198 cases surgery after the first day use of low elements liver quality 0.4 ml, a subcutaneous injections, use continuously 7-10 days. Another 188 cases of low-molecular-weight heparin is not used, nor does it use other drugs that affect coagulation function, all patients had conventional rehabilitation exercise, get out of bed as soon as possible to observe the 2-4 weeks after surgery.ResultsMedication was no deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism occurred, no treatment group occurred deep vein thrombosis in 13 cases, complicated by pulmonary embolism in 4 cases. Application of SPSS 16.0 statistical software, the treatment group was used to compare the efficacy between the x2 test, P<0.05, significant difference, that is, after bone surgery prophylactic low molecular weight heparin anticoagulant therapy can be effective in reducing venous thromboembolism incidence. Both groups were monitored postoperative platelet count and coagulation function tests, using t test, P> 0.05, no statistically significant difference.ConclusionApplication of low molecular weight heparin to prevent thrombosis in security, fewer bleeding complications.
