| Objective:To investigate the relationship between the changes of serum creatine kinase (CK) and lactic acid in patients with rabdomyolysis induced by infection.Methods:Retrospectivly,20 patients with severe sepsis treated in the central intensive care unit(ICU) were enrolled in the study from Jan 2009 to Mar 2010.Serum CK, lactic acid and blood pressure were recorded after shock happened, And the their relationship were analyzed. Results:Mean CK was 1255.2±3474.7U/L in all the 20 patients.Among them,ll patients(55%) CK level lower than 200U/L,5 patients(25%) CK level was between 200-1000U/L,while 2 patients(10%) CK level was between 1000-2000U/L and 2 patients(10%) CK level was higher than 2000U/L.Serum mean lactic acid was 5.3±4.7mmol/L.8 in 12 patients had an elevated CK when lactic acid was higher than 2.1mmol/L,while only 1 in 8 patients had an elevated CK when lactic acid was normal. Mortality was 75%.There was significantly difference between the two group. Conclusion:The elevated serum CK of patients with rabdomyolysis induced by infection was probably correlated with tissue hypoxia when shock happened. |
