The incidence of colorectal cancer tended to increase in China .It is the fourth cent of the country in malignant tumors after gastric cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer. Colorectal cancer of young patients tended to increase year by year. The symptoms of young colorectal cancer patients is occult, rapid development, invasion and metastasis early, highly malignant, cure rate, and poor prognosis features. Objective: To analyze the clinical features of young colorectal cancer patients and the related factors of the survival rate, To help diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer for young people .Methods: On January 2007-2009years, 24 young patients with colorectal cancer from the First Hospital of Jilin University were retrospectively analyzed and followed up with the Kaplan-Meier survival analysis method to calculate the estimated half a year, 1 year, 2-year survival rate, using the log-rank test and analysis of relevant factors on the survival period. Results: 24 cases of young patients with colorectal cancer show that the overall six months, 1 year, 2-year survival rates were 91.7%, 70.1%, 37.5%. Quality of the main causes of death evil disease, vital organ transfer. Univariate analysis showed that the survival rate of young patients with colorectal cancer is not associated with age, pathological type and histological correlation, the highest survival rate of adenocarcinoma, mucinous carcinoma of the second, and undifferentiated carcinoma minimum; and clinical Dukes staging , DukesB of the highest survival rate, DukesC of times, DukesD of the worst; survival rate of patients after radical surgery significantly higher than in patients with radical surgery.Conclusion:1,DukesC and D of young patients with colorectal cancer is more in clinical staging.2,Mucinous carcinoma is a high proportion in the tissue pathological type of young patients with colorectal cancer.3,The survival rates of young colorectal cancer do not relate with age,but closely related with histological type clinical stage, and radical surgery.
