Objective:To analyze the imaging diagnosis of spinal primary tumor.Materials and Method:After undergoing X-Ray, CT or MRI,60 cases of spinal primary tumors confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. among the total X-Ray 42 cases, CT 36 cases, MRI 37 cases. To analyze the imaging diagnosis of spinal primary tumor, such as age, position, numbers, destruction of bone, centrum deform, soft tissue of tumors and so on.Results:12 cases in the cervical vertebrae,28 in the thoracic vertebrae,12 in the lumbar vertebrae, and 17 in the Sacrococcygeal vertebrae.there were eosinophilic granuloma in 14, myeloma in 10, chordoblastoma in 6, osteochondroma in 5, osteoblastoma in 5, giant cell tumor of bone in 5, hemangioma in 4, chondrosarcoma in 3, lymphadenoma in 3, chondroblastoma in 2, aneurysmal bone cyst in 2, Ewing's sarcoma in 1.26 cases of single spinal tumor, there were eosinophilic granuloma in 13, osteoblastoma in 1,myeloma in 3, osteochondroma in 1, giant cell tumor of bone in 2, hemangioma in 2, lymphadenoma in 2, aneurysmal bone cyst in 2.34 cases of multiple spinal tumors, there were eosinophilic granuloma in 1, myeloma in 7, chordoblastoma in 6, osteochondroma in 3, osteoblastoma in 4, giant cell tumor of bone in 3, hemangioma in 2, chondrosarcoma in 3, lymphadenoma in 1, chondroblastoma in 2, Ewing's sarcoma in 1. Imaging findings:The lesions of EG demonstrated wedged or flattened vertebrae, patients had perivertebral soft tissue mass and intervertebral space narrowing.MRI show irregular bony destruction with abnormal signal intensities and perivertebral soft tissue masses. All lesions were presented as hypointense on T1WI, hyperintensity on T2WI. The lesions of hemangioma were presented as hyperintensity on T1WI and T2WI, with homogenously enhancement after Gd-DTPA injection. The lesions of osteochondromatosis were presented as Cauliflower-like swelling of bone mass, Clear irregular boundary, Cartilage cap, Formation of internal calcifications. The lesions of aneurysmal bone cyst presented local or dilated capsular destruction of bone, sharpness of border, and found multiple chamber and bone crist in it.1 were found multiple fluid-fluid levels. The giant cell tumor of bone were presented as eccentric, expanding bone destruction. Myeloma appeared as irregular or bit like bone destruction, MRI on the formation of "salt and pepper" sign performance. Chordoblastoma, mostly occurs in sacrococcygeal, Performance of irregular osteolytic bone destruction, cases with much greater than the scope of sacrum soft tissue lesion within the mass. Chondrosarcoma mainly to osteolytic bone destruction, lobulated soft tissue mass and irregular calcificationConclusion:Most spinal primary bone tumors have a relatively characteristic imaging findings, Combined with clinical data such as age features a clear imaging diagnosis. The number of tumor, bone damage, soft tissue mass and enhanced features contribute to the diagnosis of malignant tumors.
