Objective To discuss the value and significance of MR diffusionweighted imaging in monitoring after DT in liver cancer. Methods 49 diagnosed as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) parents weretreated by haptic artery perfusion thermo-chemistry therapy andembolization, then performed with conventional MRI and diffusionweighted imaging (DWI ). ADC values were analyzed in preoperativefrom 1 to 2 days, postoperative from 1 to 2 days, from 7 to 10 days andfrom 28 to 30 days. Results The mean value of ADC after DT increased than that before DT.For postoperative patients, the mean values of ADC from 7 to 10 daysand from 28 to 30 days increased than that from 1 to 2 days. However, themean value of ADC from 28 to 30 days decreased than that from 7 to 10days.Conclusion. The ADC value correlates well with tumor necrosis, it haspotential for detecting early response of tumor to DT. Because the meanof ADC value of postoperative from 28 to 30 days decreased thanpostoperative from 7 to 10 days, which can accept the second DTtreatment. liver cancer; dual thermo-chemistry therapy,(DT); ADC...
