Serum MMP-2 in papillary thyroid cancer recurrence / residual expressionObjective: Thyroid patients by detecting the level of serum MMP-2, serum levels of MMP-2 expression in papillary thyroid carcinoma residual / recurrent patients in the clinical application.Method: Collected in March 2009 - 2009 to 12 months, in order to stay thyroid disease need surgery department from 68 patients fasting serum and 15 (control group) healthy subjects in fasting serum. Double sandwich enzyme-linked immune assay of 73 human serum samples provided by the expression of MMP-2 level (quantitative). Postoperative pathological examination results in accordance with group, statistical analysis of the expression of MMP-2 in each group level differences, to identify MMP-2 and the relationship between papillary thyroid carcinoma.Result: In addition to the healthy group 15, the remaining 68 patients all underwent surgical operation. After diagnosis of thyroid papillary carcinoma with lymph node metastasis in 19 cases; papillary thyroid cancer recurrence / residual 10 cases with lymph node metastasis; 17 thyroid papillary carcinoma without lymph node metastasis; another 22 cases of benign lesions. Papillary carcinoma with lymph node metastasis and recurrence / residual lymph node metastasis, and papillary carcinoma without lymph node metastasis in the serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase -2 was significantly higher than benign group and the healthy group (P <0.05); benign lesions and healthy The serum expression levels of matrix metalloproteinase -2 no statistically significant difference; papillary carcinoma with lymph node metastasis, and recurrence / residual lymph node metastasis in the serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase -2 and papillary carcinoma without lymph node metastasis group differences were not statistical significance. Papillary carcinoma with lymph node metastasis and recurrence / residual lymph node metastasis, papillary carcinoma without lymph node metastasis, benign lesions, the positive control group were 79%, 76%, 80%, 45%, 20%. Conclusion: Serum matrix metalloproteinase -2 preoperative detection of thyroid nodules can be used to determine the nature of the selection index; Serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase -2 for the preoperative assessment of papillary thyroid carcinoma metastasis, the interference factors too difficult to control, unfit for use. Serum MMP-2 and TGAg of papillary thyroid carcinoma expression before and after surgeryObjective: Papillary thyroid cancer by detecting expressionof TGAG and MMP-2 in blood, to find In addition to TG an alternative to thyroid cancer patients were followed up for reference.Method: Collected in March 2009 - 2009 to 12 months, in order to stay thyroid disease need surgery department from fasting serum of 68 patients (before and after 1 month, 3 months after), while detection of MMP-2, TG . And in accordance with the scope of surgery and postoperative pathologic examination is divided into: thyroid cancer thyroidectomy + neck dissection group;a cancer side + contralateral subtotal resection group;remnant benign group. Comparison of results in each group, were statistically analyzed.Result: All 68 cases of surgical treatment of patients. After diagnosis of thyroid papillary carcinoma with lymph node metastasis in 19 cases; papillary thyroid cancer recurrence and the residual 10 cases with lymph node metastasis; 17 thyroid papillary carcinoma without lymph node metastasis; another 22 cases of benign lesions. Which 18 cases total thyroidectomy + lymph node dissection (MMP-2 before surgery, in January, was increased 3 months after; TG decrease); 28 cases the side of the + contralateral subtotal (MMP-2 before and after 1 month, 3 months after increment; TG decrease, the difference was statistically significant); the remaining 22 were benign thyroid subtotal hysterectomy (MMP-2 before and after 1 month, 3 months after increasing; TG decrease, the difference was statistically significant). Conclusion: Serum MMP-2 expression by more factors, not suitable for papillary thyroid cancer after the follow-up indicators. Although the monitoring TG only after a total thyroidectomy patients is still the most valuable reference.
