Recently, the development of healthcare information system can be divided into three forms: the first is Hospital Information System(HIS) in hospital admistration, the second is the application to Clinical Information System(CIS), the third is Group Medic Information System(GMSI) among the hospitals. Currently, the three forms mentioned in our country are uneven and interweave. And sharing is an important symbol and right development direction in establishing HIS. However, the main reason preventing share is the disunity of operating and memory system caused by developing software separately. The feasible solution is restrucion on the existed base, while not complete restruction. The article states the HIS model based on grid technology, and emphasizes function requirement, desighment in architecture system, the way of service informaiton, admistrating resource mechanism and so on.Healthcare information grid system is based on information grid theory and technology, information grid offer an intelligent information platform to grid users by using existing grid infrastructure, protocol and standard, Web technology and Database technology, aiming at building a new information platform and software infrastructure based on OS and Web. Establishing healthcare information grid system uses grid technology originating from Web Service. Web Service is an emerging general system, designed for supporting information communiation among separate information system. Web Service is an application program and has several characteristics: communication by using open agreement, describing itself absolutely, finding by using UDDI, usable to other application program and based on XML.As a new kind of computer infrastructure and service platform, grid may interconnect all kinds of information(including computing resource, memory resource, bandwidth resource, software resource, date resource, information resource , intelligence resource and so on) unattached geographically widely by using internet, just as a super computer offers users integrative information service(compute, memory, visit, etc). Under grid circumstances, virtual organization can share information and cooperate finally. Grid has four notable characteristics: distribute and share, atonomy and administrant multiety, dynamics and diversity and resembling itself.The research on grid relates to grid system and some key technology:(1) OGSA System----In OGSA System, everything has been regarded asservice, and transform net resource sharing into service sharing. The right idea expands grid which focuses on science and engineering compute into wide social and ecnomic range charactered as widely scattered system service, including healthcare area.(2) OGSI and WSRF----Connectors defined by OGSI, as the core of OGSA,and previous Web Service standard can' t be incompatible, and because of this, WSRF comes up. OGSI repairs Web Service very simply, while the destination of WSRF is to build OGSA on Web Service directly, not on OGSI grid service. WSRF solves some problems, such as too complex details in OGSI, less compatibility with existing Web Service standard and tools, and too object-oriented issues.(3) LDAP----LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) ,is aprotocol visiting directory service on line. Directory service applies distributed database by managing derectory enyrt and airtibuet according to directories.What is healthcare information system? It supplies integrative information service infrastructure. It depends on existing healthcare information infrastructure, takes full advantage of the seamless and compositive computing and cooperating platform provided by grid technology, merges every information software and hardware resource, shares and cooperates diagnosis and treat information, adminstration information, and ensurance information deeply and overall.According to the definition of healthcare information grid and current developing situation, healthcare information grid function has been set: compatibility, openness, standards, security and expandability. This article based on OGSA system, regarding "grid service" as core idea, builds a third-class applicable system platform which indicates an information network platform from country, provinces, cities and is based on four-class network that indicates an information transforming system of healthcare administration departments and hospitals from country, provinces, cities, to county(or district).The first class platform is managing system sentre, building on the country and province network and using directory tree management. It exchanges data with leaves by the LDAP copy and synchronization way. For avoiding overloading, it only provides necessary management and service functions.The second class platform is province data exchanging centre, which is an important part of healthcare information system and consist of memory and applied servers. Memory server connects memory servers of managing system sentre through connectors to make memory resources synchronizae. Applied servers including applied servers component sets and Web Service, act a mid-layer in mainly supporting transmit parameters for terminal systgem applied servers.The third class platform is healthcare information management system, the core of which is a group of applied servers component sets that exit in C0M+ servers, mainly provides hospitals with all kinds of work terminals to visit connectors of healthcare information grid system service.In healthcare grid system, information service utilizes dynamic and expandable architecture, divides grid entity metadata under information service management into five types, and defines relevant information service functions.
