Learning style, consist of learning strategy and learning inclination, is a study method that a learner uses consistently with characteristics of Personality . Learning styles will help teachers recognize individual differences, and explore the ways to help students enhance their learning abilities through their Particular strength with learning styles, so as to enhance their active roles in learning. Therefore, we should pay more attention to learning styles.With reference to literature analysis, theory research is carried out by analyzing such aspects: current situation of research at home and abroad, concept definition of learning styles, constituent elements of learning styles, the theory and models of learning styles, influence factors of nursing students' learning styles, the correlation between learning styles and learning achievement. And Based on the corresponding teaching advice, it has established theory basis for the teaching reform of nursing learning styles of nursing vocational and technical college students.The information was collected mainly via questionnaires by Kolb's Learning Style Inventory (LSI). In this paper, we have done research on 791 nursing students of three levels from Jiangxi nursing vocational and technical college, The data collected input SPSS11.5 system were analyzed and have drawn the following conclusions:1. There is an apparent difference in Kolb's learning styles among students in Jiangxi nursing vocational and technical college. The diverger style (36.8%) is the student's favorite learning style; the second is assimilator style (24.8%) ; the accommodator style (21.9%) and the converger style (16.6%) are coming behind.2. there is no obvious difference between Secondary students and Senior high vocational school students, but there is obvious difference between Secondary students and College students, there is also obvious difference between Senior high vocational students and College students; Secondary students' and Senior high vocational school students' learning style in distribution are diverger , accommodator , assimilator and converger; The College students' is diverger , assimilator, converger and accommodator.3. There is a rising trend in the link of abstract conceptualization while the link of active experimentation is decline with the rising of student's levels in Kolb's learning process among students in Jiangxi nursing vocational and technical college.4. The students with different learning styles have obvious difference in professional interest, value link of teaching, preference of teaching methods and preference of evaluation; In students' learning time preference, the night and the early morning are more than the morning and the afternoon.5. Students' learning style are significantly correlated with their Learning achievement, Students with assimilator style or converger style have better Theoretical achievement and Students with accommodator style or converger style have better Practical achievement.Based on the obave conclusions, suggestions are given to the teaching of nursing vocational and technical college students.1. The teaching should respect students' various learning style,Mulit-level teaching,reform teaching strategies and evaluation system so that it can teach students in accordance with their aptitudes.2. Teachers should provide appropriate platform for students of different learning styles, while they realize and help students identify their learning style.
