| ã€Purpose】To observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravitreous injection with Bevacizumab for choroidal neovascularization of yellow race.ã€Method】Clinical diagnosis of the different causes of choroidal neovascularization(CNV) caused 92 eyes of 88 cases who had intravitreal injection of Bevacizumab.Including 43 eyes of 41 cases in age- related degeneration(AMD), there were predominantly classic CNV in 12 eyes,minimally classic CNV in 6 eye and occult CNV in 12 eye of 43eyes in AMD.14 eyes of 13 cases in pathologic myopia(PM),26 eyes of 26 cases in idiopathic choroidal neovascularization,7 eyes of 7 cases in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy(PCV),2 eyes of one case in angioid streaks.Regular follow-up.The examination the best-corrected visual acuity,ocular fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA) and indocyanine green angiography(ICGA) and optical coherence tomography(OCT) were done,follow-up period,The relapse had the same way for treatment during follow-up period,the changes of them before and after the treatment were observed and compared.To compare the changes of best-corrected visual acuity,fundus manifestations,fundus flurescein angiography(FFA) and indocyanine green angiography(ICGA),optical coherence tomography(OCT) before and after intravitreous injection with Bevacizumab.ã€Result】Follow up time varied from 3 month to 19 months,mean 11.7 months. 36 eyes were treated once,44 eyes received retreatments twice,12 eyes were treated three times.The final best-corrected visual acuity improved in 72eyes,stabilized in 20eyes.FFA showed absence of leakage in 51 eyes,minimal leakage in 30 eyes, moderate leakage in 11 eyes.The areas of leakage decreased significantly than those pre- intravitreous injection with Bevacizumab(P<0.05).OCT showed significant reduce of retinal thickness in 79 eyes,moderate reduce in 13 eyes.The retinal thickness reduced significantly than those pre- intravitreous injection with Bevacizumab(P<0.05).ã€Conclusion】Intravitreous injection with Bevacizumab in strict and aseptic is an efficacy and safty therapy for CNV of various causes.The patients can improve best corrected visual acuity,reduce the area of CNV leakage and reduce macular retinal thickness.In particular,idiopathic choroidal neovascularization,pathologic myopia-induced CNV,the effect of better.The shorter time of onset,the better therapeutic effect.Different axial length of the vitreous cavity of the effect of Bevacizumab injection had no significant effect for intravitreous injection with Bevacizumab. |
