Object: To investigate the character about middle-aged stroke and to explore the influence of coping style, social support, type A behavior, life events in the onset of stroke, to learn the role of psychosocial factors in the onset of middle-aged stroke, and hope to provide the referenced evidence how to establish comprehensive control model.Method: Eighty middle-age patients with stroke were studied in department of neurology of our hospital from July 2008 to October. All patients were matched with diagnosis by clinical standards referred to the fourth national cerebrovascular diseases meeting in 1995, the age of onset was 45-60 years old .Sixty examiners who were non-cerebral vascular disease were selected as control group in the same period. The study adopted on-the-spot investigation, and used general conditions questionnaire, Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ), Social Support Measurement(SSRS), Type A Behavior Pattern Scale(TABP) and Life Event Scale(LES). With the uniform guidance and filling methods, the two groups finished the scales. Professional carried through the scale and statistical analysis. Result : Not live with family, hypertension history, diabetes mellitus history, heart diseases history, family history of stroke , smoking history, behavior type, negative life events, the total life events, the factor TH, the factor TH+CH, subjective supporting, social support use, passive coping with ,the scores of stroke were different to normal control, the difference had statistical significance. The results of multiple logistic analysis showed that the positive correlation between stroke and normal control on those factor: not live with family, hypertension history, diabetes mellitus history, heart diseases history, family history of stroke , alcohol drinking history, negative life events, the type of behavior A, passive coping with; and the negative correlation between stroke and normal control on subjective supporting and social support use, the difference had statistical significance.Conclusion: Psychosocial factors have important influence on the onset of Middle-aged stroke, and Middle-aged stroke was showed correlation to social sport, coping style, type A behavior, life event. It was an effective way to prevent Middle-aged stroke that related psychosocial intervening measures were taken well.
